Same. 30 isn't all that great. Wish I was still 26.

Absolutely. Back when it wasn't unusual for kid's cartoons to be genuinely entertaining for the parents as well as the kids, and the writing was clever and smart ("The Real Ghostbusters" was a classic case in point).

Speaking of, and going totally OT, RIP Harold Ramis.

if it is for you, you're in the wrong car to begin with.

Honestly anyone who buys a SC must not have done their research. Every competitive tracked 86 uses a turbo. This car is meant for bursts of speed and a turbo just makes it better. I am with the OP, if you bought a SC you clearly bought the wrong car!

Please don't pollute this thread further with even more ignorance. No sentence quoted above is correct, even the opinion-stated-as-fact given at the end is wrong (and poorly-researched).

While it is true that for pure numbers, the most gains come from going turbo, that doesn't mean going SC is a bad idea, not if it can deliver your power goals well.

You sound just like some of the original detractors to this car in the AWD Subie community: Turbo or GTFO.

But competitive track use and street driving are two different things. With such a high compression, RWD, boost leaks, complexity, stability on mountain roads, its pushing me in the SC direction.

fyi I was being sarcastic. I am pretty sure most the competitive track 86s are supercharged :P

have you seen the clip of a turbo'd frs vs a SC s2k? Different cars, different power deliver, different engine - but around a twisty track I'd take a supercharger over a turbo any day.
