Trying to see if I can make it with, and to see if any of my buddies would be interested. Still want to do this one of these days.

also it says "
No 4-Point harnesses allowed. 2 years or newer, SFI. 5 years or newer, FIA."

So are 5 point allowed? I dont have this but I plan on getting seats, 4 point rear cage custom, and that fun stuff in the future (plan to take it to a shop to keep it within the right specs[they build racing corvettes at a local shop near me])

Also, my friend has a 1964 Corvair. Just has a lapbelt. Would that still be fine?

I'll have to read the whole state spec on that.

I'm pretty sure they won't allow him on track with just the lapbelts. On a vintage car like that especially a corvair, you would want a full cage and race seats if you planned to track it.

I understand. Things happen. I'm still going to try and make it and pretty sure I will. I just have a number of people who changed around their schedules for me and now I'll have to ask them to do it again. But I'll wait until Monday. I can't face them today.

Right now we have 12 Novice w/Instructor slots left. Plenty of Novice and Advanced "solo" spots left.

Do you think I will be OK with stock tires and pads, and come to you for some better brake fluid before the event? I got my trans and diff changed there about 2k miles ago. It would be my first track day, I really want to go but don't want to slide too far down the modification rabbit hole yet ^_^

How many miles on the stock tires and pads? As a novice you should be fine with the stock tires and pads, worst case you can work on your line rather than all-out speed.

car has like 22,500 all street miles, mostly highway. Stock tires have less than 10k, maybe only 5k, I've been running all seasons on different wheels since winter 2012

You'll be fine then as a novice Brake flush would be good idea though.

Even though Im a novice, i still am going to buy rpf1's, bridgestone RE11's (love these tires for back road adventures), EBC Yellow stuff pads, and a SA2010 Helmet (the ones I have for snowmobiling are out of date now haha) Only 6000 miles on my BRZ and still kicking it :P

Hopefully It wont sell out by the time I get my next paycheck.

Whats the rule on passengers?
