@WNDSRFR that Schwitzer may have been for a deuce and a half multifuel engine. 7.8 liter rated at....130hp. If it is, it could be very loud. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrtJvjhN9Tk"]1971 AM General M35a2 deuce and a half Whistler turbo C - YouTube[/ame]

Been following this thread daily. When I get my car back from dealer, the esc will be on my short list. I had a major engine failure right before 25k miles and don't want anything on my car that can't be removed quickly. FWIW if anyone wants a perfect condition catted p&l header for around half price as new, let me know.

Rocker arms grenaded on cyl 4, rounded cams. Short block replaced due to rod and piston damage. Got car back but now having cam position sensors replaced. Imo they should have been replaced with short block.

They mention why rocker the arms failed.. or unknown? I know these are roller rockers.. should have been nigh bullet proof, as far as the rocker goes. |

Hopefully Toyota and Subaru will work out or have worked out quality issues. I love driving the car but when talking to service rep I got impression they're pulling their hair out with these cars. I suggest occasional spirited driving. I raced motorcycles for 20 yrs and have a heavy foot. I will be changing my driving habits for sure.

Imo the neat thing about the phantom is the room for growth as battery, small motor tech grows. Now if they can just get my car back together.
