Nick, I'd love to listen to the noise but I don't use Facebook and have no login. Are you around this Saturday? I wouldn't mind checking it out in person.

Map sensor harness extension that came with the kit is having some issues. The blue wire sensor side isn't locking into the connector body, and voltage is fluctuating.

My stock harness is long enough to not use the extension. I went ahead and installed the extension, just for the extra slack. Can you remove the extension?

I had to take mine off as the wires were incorrectly wired,
Do a color match end to end to verify ok.

Good call. I was going to ask him to check the oil but didn't want to jump to conclusions before hearing it.

You found no oil in yours.. Hmmm. Did it not come with oil or do you think it's being lost? I'm not following the 30k mile recommendation and planning to change mine every 10k for insurance. The Redline stuff is relatively cheap.

Eat your vegetables..

This would probably be the issue as you all have stated. I have used the Lucas gear oil instead of the Redline if it is not available near you.

My last blower was was replaced at 500 miles. This one only has 600 miles on it. If it doesn't have oil i'll be quite shocked.

My gear oil was pretty low when I changed it last week. Only have about 2K miles on the sc.

Mine always seemed low from the factory as well. I used the intercooler install as a good opportunity to drain and replace with the factory specified amount.

Pro-tip - A syringe like this makes measuring out the exact amount of oil specified (157ml if i recall correctly) much easier.

This makes me all wonder. The first time my blower was replaced Innovate kept asking if the blower had enough oil in it. Wonder if there is something to connect the dots to. I'll check it on Sat. Car is sitting in the garage again......
