You have to stop talking in "stages". Stages are made by companies that sell packages. This is confusing. He made it quite clear that he gained those gains from just swapping the header.

Not sure, I didn't tune my car stock. Threw on a exhaust and intake and had it tuned in October. Yielded 182/151.

If y'all are thinking of catback items, consider doing what NP did for the WRX/STI: offering to put a muffler in the midpipe in addition to axleback muffler(s). Good way to muffle the noise of an increased-flow exhaust system.

@Pokeguyjai

thanks for taking the time to post your dyno results, makes me that much more confident about purchasing this header. 194whp is very nice, we have similar exhaust setups, but im running the perrin 3" front catted front pipe and 3" catback...

hoping for similar results on dyno day!

I have an EL non carted with titanium coating that'll be for sale in about a week. Not exactly what you're looking for but will give you a deal. Header has about 80 miles on it

Just pulled off my p&l header, it may end up on my wife's street brz

Buying a JDL for my car it seems. Based on my experience, and a hunch, for my intended use.

While I liked the el power and performance, I had issues with track use, bolts loosening, and while the torque was right, I attribute the issue to be the lack of flex joints, the heat cool cycles without the joints result in my having to re torque after multiple high heat cycles.

I also feel the heat coming off warrants augmenting stock under car ventilation with the designs that come up between the radiator, not a problem for any daily driver tho, only on track in summer temps

It's getting warmer here again, 80s this week.
The jdl Uel just looks like it keeps heat away from the parts that my p&l exposes.

Anyone adding a header Should have theirs coated if you ask me
Since going to a oil cooled vortech and having perfected the setup and worked thru some leaks I had I feel the designs that come up by the radiator are the least co operative with my oil Fed setup
