Gotcha! So I thought the 70 mm e85 tune was good for 300whp dyno jet

Close... With an intake I'm probably there.

saw those, wasn't sure they'd fit as some of the hex bolts don't seem to have room for a collar/washer.

Put it on an actual DynoJet and see what it makes. No use of the "Shoot Out Mode" on that Dyno Dynamics

Completely agree but HG wants to give comparison modes out due to too many customers getting hurt feelings after getting tuned or running baseline pulls. LOL

Cheers,

Correct. We would expect with an Airaid intake, we would hit about 300whp. I actually put this exact tune in our development car for the ride home and I will have to say the low end is almost perfectly smooth.

Also the top end with the Airaid and 75mm pulley I reached the same MAF values as the car we tuned today on the stock intake and 70mm pulley. I will get it on the dyno soon, but pretty sure the Airaid intake does work.

Cheers,
William Knose

Can somebody help me out? This thread is great and has a lot of info but impossible to find what you want. I just got a P3cars gauge and want to hook up the boost gauge. Did we ever figure out what nipple was needed to screw into the back of the manifold to attach the vacuum line? Thanks!

I got a 1/8" npt elbow with a 1/8" barb adapter and drilled and tapped my map sensor plate to accept it. Then I ran the 1/8" vac line inside the car under the dash and connected it to the analog sensor. You have to buy the sensor separately. I'll be posting details and pics on Speedhunters next week. Hope this helps in the mean time.

does everyone's manifold have some dropoffs in the casting in the runners near the edges?

ok guys, i need help.

Apparently I have a vacuum leak somewhere between the MAF and blower on my system. After 5k RPMs at WOT i've noticed my AFR heading towards the lean side on my wideband. The odd thing is that if i apply ~75% throttle AFRs seem to behave as expected.

Both @moto-mike and @DeliciousTuning have reviewed the logs and suggested that there is a leak somewhere between the MAF and supercharger. @moto-mike said he had to basically increase fueling about 30% to compensate (he can probably provide a little more clarification)

Myself and @civicdrivr have looked everywhere we can think of:
  • Pulled the plastic intake tube from innovate, tested to make sure there were no cracks or holes in that and that it held pressure.
  • Also pulled the stock intake box and K&N filter to ensure that was snapped together properly.
  • Pulled the supercharger off the manifold to verify the o-ring strips on top of the blower were still in place, they were.
  • Checked all of the supercharger to intake manifold hex bolts
  • Cleaned the MAF sensor
  • Removed the catch can going to the intake breather and went back to stock routing
  • Removed the injectors, applied dielectric grease to the o-rings to make sure everything sealed up properly and reinstalled.
  • Sprayed starter fluid over any area i could see as being a potential source for leak with the car running, no change in idle noted.
I'm going to try and pull the other catch can today and return that to stock routing, but other than that I'm at a loss. Do any of you guys have any suggestions on where to look, or tips/tricks that I can use to help locate the source of this leak?

@xjohnx I am sure you can figure out an easy DIY way to do this but.. This is where I would start..

http://www.turboboostleaktesters.com...101/Categories
@ntaphse That is definitely one way to do it... But I remember while back someone pointing out a bolt that is in the back of the manifold that can be taken out and replaced with a nipple. This would be the easiest solution.
