changing emblems - Page 2 - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I just spent about $50 including shipping and tax (no tax fortunately) on the lower left 'TOYOTA' trunk emblem. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's a cheaper way to get the emblem. For example, is there a part number for a different toyota model that matches that same badge size and is essentially the same badge?

I impluse bought it because I assumed that I wouldn't be able to get that exact same emblem for less anywhere else. My local dealer won't match pricing on parts at all. My current order w/ Nigel-JDM is in 'processing' so I might still be able to cancel it if necessary.

All I remember is that I bought one from nigel, a couple from a stateside dealership on ebay and one from a uk dealership on ebay. The gt86 from the uk was the cheapest at around 25. Its crazy how much they charge for those emblems!

wow, $25 is kinda cheap in comparison to some of the other badges!

The badge came in the mail already! I was worried about putting it on myself but all I did was wash my car and dry it and then afterwards I eyeballed it and I think it turned out OK. It's not perfect but it isn't noticeably bad looking. Not many people have this combination of emblems as far as I know anyway :-)
