Even stock the mkvi tdi isn't too bad at all, when the car was new we took a road trip to va, considering what it is it was never a disappointment. I had a dsg mkv gti with apr s2+ and suspension mods in the past, my mother in her mid 60s still has an s1 flashed 6mt gti. Her tdi isn't terrible in comparison and is far better than the mkiv tdi wagon I traded for the frs (01m tranny on its way out)

Gf finally used up the oem contis at the end of last season, bf sport comp2 are cheap locally $88@sams, so she got a set of those, car is stock otherwise.

Luckily when her mechatronics died I was able to use it as a way to get the maintenance done for free (maybe filter cost). Still afraid of the hpfp issue though, last I looked there still wasn't a solution or warranty extension. Think she's around 55k now. Also had an issue with shady dealer in the first weeks of owning the car over fueling. Vwoa stepped in and reimbursed her.

Good to know VWoa did you right. I had a mk4 GLI Apr stage 3+ 2 years ago and the turbo spooled a little too rough for my taste, ill keep my tunes less aggressive from now on lol. Ide love to tune the TDI but the DPF delete is required and I still have extended warranty on her so maybe when that expires Aug 2015 ill get a tune. Malone was last 1 I looked at ages ago. 300tq sounds delicious

I'd love to mod ours, but the dsg and hpfp boogeymen will keep it from happening.

2 heavily modded cars here already is enough (sc frs, near sti forester xt)
