i too have the helix ones and haven't had any issues, but i wouldn't be surprised if i do. one thing i noticed with the helix though (dunno about JDM) is that they don't actually serve as reflectors at all

Don't get Helix sidemarkers. I had mine installed for about 8 months and look at this.
  LED inside was completely rusted and destroyed. There was water, ice and dirt all over inside. Just spend the extra $$ and buy the real ones. I wish I did. |

i got the helix maybe about 3 months ago....about 2 months after i noticed on the drivers side water residue....it will probably rust in the near future =(
