So how are the 2014s holding up?

None of the above. Never drifted nor dared to. Car was babied up until 1000 even after that. This is a mystery to me and the fact subaru eff'ed me witha denial is beyond upsetting

Edit: upon washing the car after getting it from dealer I noticed this stain, any idea how to remove:

Running on 1700 miles so far. Have had the master controller go bad, they fixed it. The sound from the engine is fairly loud. Where if I was at a stop light and there is nobody next to me (to increase volume coming from the engine) I can hear the engine rumbling and making a high pitch noise. So far it appears to be the radiator fan. If its confirmed. I am definitely going to be getting a performance radiator to have the sound go away. Want my car to be a sleeper..

Sorry to hear that...I have not mentioned it, but 10 days in, i avoided an accident that happened in front of me, but vehicle parts showered the car, so I have scratches and dings everywhere.

I hope things work out for you and you get to enjoy your vehicle

No very noticeable crickets since I use ethanol free Shell V-Power 91.

2nd gear is a little harder to shift into when cold but that's the same as the DC2 Integras back in the mid 90's.

Only minor design flaw I can see are the sun visors, if you adjust them too much it pops off the plastic hinge, and just got to snap it back into place (this car is really cheap compare to old Hondas lol).

If you think 13 is unlucky, 14 is unlucky too in Chinese (it means sure death lol).
I have been using V-Power since the beginning and no crickets...I am sure it does have ethanol, but I have been told that varies from station to station..

Try a little acetone on a soft rag.

No ethanol with Shell V-Power 91 or Petro Canada 91 here in Southern Ontario as long as it's clearly labelled on the gas pump.

Got mine on New Years Day '14, almost at 5k miles. Occasional RPM dips at extended idle. No crickets/rattling/tail light condensation/etc. I run Shell 91 exclusively

Took delivery nov. 22. No crickets, no tail light condensation, none of the other complaints.

Just some bone head on the highway in a work truck dropping stones chipped my windshield.

I heard that a major theory ATM is ethanol content in the gasolene. If I remember correctly japan uses ethanol free gas? (confirm?) But the levels of ethanol at a lot of our stations thin the mixture to the point it can cause cavitation in the DI pump and it causes the chirp.

A lot of these issues take 6+ months to show. I would put $100 on you getting a good portion of these issues by the end of the year. Just be prepared or not care when it happens.

Yeah, crickets are generally quick to show. But the gasket and seal issues take a while.
