Hmm I used to live on the gold coast and drive a single turbo supra with a long list of mods that weren't legal.

I lived there for 3 years and the only time I got pulled over I was driving my flatmate's 1993 Hyundai Excel. The cops in QLD seemed really laid back then.

Though I lived on the Gold Coast not in Brissie.

The cops have more important things to do then to measure for 1mm.

I drive a Calais turbo with external screamer piped wastegate for 10 years and was fine too.

Times have changed.

Probably. But not always. A mate was booked for a frayed bonnet liner once. As well as no shift pattern on a gear knob in a car that never came with one.

The point was, there is no reason to adhere to the 1mm when the total allowable according to you would be 1545mm front (0.065%) and 1665mm rear(0.0605%) especially when it becomes 0.5mm at each side, and forego functionality.

I didn't. I went the +45 as it was closer to factory offset and the 35s poke too much for my liking. I understand that many people find this look very desirable.

I was referring to functionality but yes, I wouldn't forego functionality and lose ability to run the sprint brakes just because of trying to run useless 0 degree camber.
As for factory offset, this is mute when you are rubbing on the stock perch when you are only running 235 wide tyres or hit the toe arm on full lock.

I run ~1.5 all round. Clearly stated many times it is my opinion about offset so why keep assuming things in an attempt to continue? everyone had different opinions/reasons. Though even with an inch lowering the 45s looks silly at the front as they poke out with no camber. Couldn't do 0 even if you wanted to.

Yes, your opinion is based on looks which obviously is subjective.

Part of it. But as said better steering geometry and legalities also. Sure, for a race car go the 35s and dare I assume! more than 3 dredgers camber for 255s

Yes, your choice is the best.

Best for me. I've only tried to show why I chose 45 rather than the 35s.
