Great, thanks a bunch!

I'm with you on the poke issue in the front. IMO, poke only looks appropriate on off road vehicles.

Gunmetal (brake dust enamel) is the color I'm going with as well.

My 225/45's have never rubbed, even at full lock (same 17x8 +45 wheels).

I'm looking to reuse my tires (stock size -- cooper rs3-A) I just bought for the stock wheels (unrepairable nail puncture) on these 17x8 +45 rpf1 wheels. Long story short, needed to drive 120+ miles on the interstate and didn't want to run the spare, so I purchased new rear tires from a small shop. Not into the stretch thing, and will replace with a 245 once these burn thru, but would a stock size be 'ok' on this rim?

Thanks!

Cooper says rim width should be 7-8" for the 215, so you're good.

They really aren't bad. I thought it was going to be worse. 8" is the upper end of the recommended width but doesn't exceed it.

The widest part of the tire is wider than the wheel and the tread width is 7.5".

Can you post more well lit pictures from a little further back? I think a bit more meat on the sidewall looks great and 235/45 PSS is in the top choice for me as well.

Wow, so you purchased a set of Enkei RPF1's (17x8.0 +45) and put them on the stock FR-S tires...damn, I must say they look pretty sweet.

So, no issues with the rim and stock everything?

Btw, do you happen to have any close-up pictures of them installed? Thank you!

I don't have any more photos at the moment. Ill take some more tomorrow. Not a big fan of the OEM tires but they still have lots of tread left and want to use them up before getting another set of summer tires. Hopefully they'll be spent after this summer.
