Not bad of a deal for R9 290.

$473 plus tax.

Just bought myself 2, lol.

Just installed my second 280x and it was running at 95. I can't remotely connect to it now, so it looks like it probably overheated, lol. Looks like I'll need to install these cards in a milk create even with just 2 cards.

Do the fans automatically adjust to 100% under full load, or do you need a software to run it at 100%?

About 0.03 BTC a day, but I only have the 7950's and the 270X, giving me 650 khash more or less.

My 290 is still mining Max

Hey guys, just bought 3 gigabyte 270(nonx), corsair 850 power supply. I'm thinking about using an old machine I had built a long time ago:

dual core AMD AM2 processor(forget what speed) ECS KN3 SLI (has 2 PCIE x16 slots, and 2 PCIE x1 slots) http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Pro...uID=20&LanID=0 8gb RAM

Will the 3 cards work on this mobo/processor? Also anyone have a good recommendation for a riser?
Thanks guys!

Have a fan pointed towards the 2 280x GPUs. Much better. Mining at 1.4M now, lol.

this is going to be the build...
GPU: 4x SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 270X
CPU: AMD Sempron 145
Mem: G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB DDR3
PSU: CORSAIR RM Series RM1000 1000W GOLD
Mobo: ASRock 970 EXTREME4

One of my biggest concerns is, powered risers vs non-powered risers. I bought 2x 16x risers, and 2x 1x-16x risers for the build because they were easier to get, and I see some people run powered, some don't, some half and half. So confusing.

Also, i bought this all off newegg (since i an going to pick it up in person), and i saw that my local bestbuy has XFX r9 270x's in stock for $250/ea, compared to the sapphire @ $299/ea which I bought them for. I haven't even picked up my cards yet so I can get my money back, I was thinking of saving $200 but is it worth it, is XFX as reliable?
Installing Xubuntu right now on a 16gb USB Stick! First time ever putting a computer together...was pretty easy lol. Only have 2 GPU's on the board directly right now, since I don't have my risers yet.

Also have 4 copies of BF4 lol.

Trying to figure out how I can install 4 GPUs on my mobo. Thinking of getting those USB risers and a second PSU.
