245/35 is your best choice; that width tire is the most appropriate match for the width of the wheel. In addition, 35 series side wall should help a little with any rubbing issues you may have (there shouldn't be any) and in my opinion look better as well. The shorter/stiffer sidewall should give marginally better handling as well.

Ahhh, the more i look at them the more i like them.

Too bad 8.5 is too big, rubber needed to go on that tire is a waste on the FRS.

Advice with tire size for Enkei RS05RR 18x8.5

Hi Guys, have purchased Enkei RS05RR Wheel - 18x8.5 / 5x100 / Offset +42 (Face F) in gunmetal.I am confused with what size tires I should put on. I am looking maybe 235/40/18. I want a performance tires but at the same time look nice and fill the guard, nothing chunky.

Any thoughts ????

Your size choice is good if not great.

235/40/18 would be perfect.
