Are you really wanting to use the extra overhead the 3582 offers...thats rated for 650 hp right? built block right there, tranny swap, rear axle and diff...thats a good 20k in parts, then add labor, if you wanted to use the 3582 for its full potential. unless you have future track only plans for it, I wouldnt, but thats just me! By no means am i as knowledgeable about what will suffice for a DD at 550+ whp.

What sounds very cocky? Why even say that? Just because you need the biggest turbo possible doesn't mean I do. I came from a TD04 WRX that had a "mountain" of torque. Full spool before 2.5-3k is what I'm looking for.
Although hard to believe from a 2.0L, from the posts it appears this motor spools "big" turbos pretty quickly. Enough said. End of story. No need for a small turbo. Thanks for the responses. |

I know who you are btw, we met a couple weeks ago and your "comments" during our Orlando 86 meet werent very thought out. I will give you a thought. If you manage to make 300 whp with full spool at 2500 rpm let me know what size and brand tires you plan on hooking with.

I'd imagine you need RS3's in 245+ or the like to hook up but would you not have the same issues @ 400-500 whp no matter what tire you use? Ever see a corvette tires yeah they are massive for a reason. My Dad has one and they still can spin. |
