I have around 10 different pairs of pumas but the best ones for track days are the speedcats. They suck to walk around in all day though. For spirited driving in the country or car club events any pair of Ferragamo drivers are awesome.

Anyone ever tried out Car Shoe? http://www.carshoe.com/it/en I wonder if they are worth the money.

I bought these the other day, but wearing them all day is a bit wearing on my feet, and the sole isn't as wide as I'd like for my narrow feet needs. However, that could just be a break-in thing.

Puma is having a massive clearance sale on their website, though, so I ordered a pair of these, and got them for $45: http://www.shop.puma.com/BMW-Preciso...30%26start%3D0

The sale they're having right now discounts an additional 25% off what they currently have already marked down, which is quite nice.

Nike SBs for me. I have completely flat feet, so they work rather well with their thin soles.

Addias wrestling shoes...extremely lightweight, super thin soled, good heel support.

About time for me to get a new pair...

The thin rubber sole with a flat squared off bottom really helps the pedal feel.
Haha this is the first thing I thought of when I saw those:
