Track day bro (need info)
So im on the edge of going turbo but there is one thing that is holding me off. For the people who have gone turbo and done mainly autox how has the car held up? I know the weakest link will be the axles but aside from that has there been any other major problems that have come up due to a turbo install? Just to put it out there I know SC will be better for autox but I feel the price for SC kits and the power/flexibility from them isent worth it (im just a big turbo guy).

Cooling. You'll need lots of cooling mods if you plan to track any 86 (turbo or otherwise).

I've done more than 10 track days while NA with stock cooling system, without issue.
It would depend on your local conditions as to whether you need any cooling upgrades, if still NA |

I've heard lots of heat issues with most of the top mounted turbos, haven't heard much 3rd party on the low mounted like AVO & PTuning but according to the manufacterers those are doing fine at the track (albeit oil cooler + engine cooler to my knowledge).

Id think an autox and actual race track would have different needs, given the speeds and time moving. Regardless FI with stock cooling probably wont go well.
