I got everything running right and went for a quick spin. It's awesome, love the TQ!

Go to Rob's website and click on the link for the Wild Weasel test/review.

I'm still at 300 miles, just got the car a week ago. Looking forward to exceeding the break in period. Unfortunately i work like a mile away from home so its gonna take some weekend trips to get there. Hopefully by then I had already finished my suspension setup and rob might have a 30024v version available.

Totally interested.

A while back, I posted an amusing video of my Camry taking off with a torque converter/Phantom, boosted launch. I really wouldn't do this in the real world all that often, but just a good old stomp off the line seems to do fairly well with an automatic:

That was with my battery pack chilled way down to about -20C. (mounted outside the engine compartment) You should see how it ran today, 25C warmer. I can also take my shift points to 6500rpm, instead of the 5800rpm that the auto shifts at by itself!

Got my OFT yesterday and batteries today. Rob said mid to late March for the kit, which is right round the time I'll be taking my car out of storage. Can't wait.

@VR46 "I am strongly considering going to a test & tune night just for laffs, I am not a "good" driver for it though as I have never actually been on a drag strip, also I hear it can be pretty tricky to launch the AT "

The trick is a power stand, without the power. Load up the suspension and at the light, let her go to WOT. This an impressive automatic and I've had a good time with a stock vehicle at BIR.

Having said that posting a boost map and torque then comparing them makes no sense in an actual debate, you showed that a centri supercharger that doesn't hit full boost til red line has less torque then a echarger that hits full boost at 1k, honestly if your trying to prove how good and simple this charger is you should compare it to a turbo(which the design is modeled after, no boost till spool up is done where a charger is always midspool. Doesn't matter how long it takes you to spool up, it's still considered turbo lag.)

Just saying that if your gonna compare charts use torque and HP, the boost just shows where the torque is coming from.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very impressed with this system, but fact manipulation is just that... Like comparing a bullet to a rocket ship.

That depends on whether you are going to the moon or running autox coarse.

I'm done. This has gone on too long and is still not available by the website www.phantomsuperchargers.com which is still under construction. Where as I do enjoy spinning my wheels (literally), I'm tired of spinning my wheels here. I'm thinking "Innovate Stage 2" is what will do the best for my needs.

If he has not yet patented it already (I imagine he has) then that could potentially have a negative turnout down the road.....................

The "battery break-in" thing is true. Definitely starting to make more power.

The ecommerce portion of the site is not up yet. The product is available and is shipping March once the second shipment is received.

Message Rob at the phantom website to order.

Thanks

Uhh too long what? Your first post in this thread appears to be about ohh... two days ago. What's taking too long? Just email Rob and he'll get you on the list to receive one, not sure what the problem is...
