Took her back to the dealership. They have a repair center. Figured they would do the best job and keep my warranty. But she will be getting a new part when she comes home. There's a 1 month backup on the repair shop though. Going to be driving a rental for a while. Boring...

You should be able to get exact matching parts and paint from an independent body shop too and perhaps not the long wait. My damage was minor, but the paint matches perfectly, had it back in 3 days, and because it's a preferred shop for my insurance it is guaranteed for life.

I parked in a corner and got hit one day as well. Went to a preferred shop on the lady's insurance and had it back in three days. Had to replace the driver side light, signal, and repaint the bumper. Looks 100% brand spanking new. Oh and the repairs are guaranteed, like the other dude said.

It's a raven too.

They can do amazing things these days with computer matching of paints.. Or even buy the exact paints.. Unreal..

I didn't say it wouldn't look good, ass. I said it wouldnt be 100%. It still has to be blended. Sun and all sorts of elements make this paint look and react different from the time it was originally painted. Not to mention plastic and metal make the paint react differently.




OP, good luck with the fix. I hope it does come out 100%, but i didnt want to get your hopes up of a perfect fix. I would rather be pleasantly surprised, than severely disappointed.

My shop does redid my entire driver quarter and you would never know. I also have raven. It looks Oem even down to the texture.

No to worry about paint match. With computer matching it'll be perfect. Provide you take it to a reputable repair facility with comp/color/matching capability.

I've found that if that doesn't stop them ...... it slows them down quite a bit.....

Am I blind? I can't see the damage and the ones I can see are easily replaced.
