All my dealer has told me so far is "sometime in March"... UGH!!!
I will post info and pics as well, but hopefully all these questions will be answered before then. |

I haven't got my car yet but the dealership gave me the VIN. I don't believe you can use the number to track the Monogram series. My number is over 6000.

I use to have a protégé way back when, and the mazdaspeed protégés were also a limited production car with no factory badging to indicate which number yours was out of the total but eventually a production number sheet surfaced. All you had to do was find your vin number on the sheet and it would tell you your number.
So hopefully, eventually, a Toyota document will surface that will be similar since it doesn't seem like we'll know by looking at the car.

Well, well... Congratulations, kiddo! You might want to read something I wrote over here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58143 There's a lot written on the subject, but if you want my view, I'd be glad to answer your questions. Your first NEW CAR! You must be excited. I'm happy for you. |

This is my first post! YAY!
I have a Monogram FR-S in Whiteout with a 6MT on reserve! Dealer told me it would be mid March when they get it in. I'm in no rush for them to get it really though haha. I'm currently stationed in Okinawa for the military and won't be stateside till November so the car is going to be in a garage for awhile. I'll still have the legal guardian take a lot of pictures for me and post them up though! Of course I'll be getting some bits and pieces from Japan since I'm here for it too! |

I don't care which number I'm getting. I just want the car. Do you really need a badge/plaque to make you feel special? I have a 2008 Trail Teams Edition FJ Cruiser (only 3200 made) Did I or do I care now if it has something saying "### of 3200"? Hell no. I got the one I wanted and that makes me happy as hell. Quit crying about a stupid badge, get your car and enjoy it. Love it as if it's #1 out of 2000
Oh and on that note...WOOOO I'm finally picking mine up tonight! It's been at the dealership waiting for me since Tuesday! Longest 2 days EVER! |

I'm looking forward to it! You must have a lot of questions. Despite my creaking old age, I'm a pretty good resource. Ask away. It'll be a vicarious pleasure for me to share in your excitement! Have you learned to do a solid handbrake start on hills yet? Once you master that, you can relax. There's a great deal more to learn, of course, but mastering that removes a huge worry. It also saves your clutch disk from the unavoidable excess wear that accompanies doing it any other way. You've come a long way ... you deserve something really nice. You've earned it. This is exciting... |

I never mentioned anything about a badge or anything else to try to show off to anyone. I would simply like to be able to know for myself. I guess I will just pick a number I like and claim that to be MINE out of the 2000. With that in mind, I am hereby officially claiming that my (hopefully) soon-to-be-delivered 2014 FR-S Monogram Firestorm AT is #0017 out of 2000! |

That's what I was wondering too! I can't seem to find a number indicator on hers...my last 4 VINs are:6XXX...so seeing that it starts in 6k, that's out of the question. I'll search around more later tonight. Lol I haven't even had time to take decent pictures of her! Photo shoot to come on my lunch though!
