Traction control comes on to tell you that you are getting another CEL if you CEL is already lit.

Playing off @Sojhinn theme it will be called 'Super Pursuit Mode'.
It will be a simple switch which allows you to activate SPM (Just like F1 detection zone for KERS) then use it on the straight, then switch the SPM off to use just DR mode.

Only testing will tell how long using only DR will last. It consumes 100-300 watts @ higher engine rpms and can be sustained using little to no dump battery capacity.

On the bench, 200 Watts can be maintained for 20 minutes straight.

Soon I will have a 'plug and play' aux charger upgrade which provides ~5:1

SPM mod. *this is for track KERS style testing, not needed for DD,AutoX,drag*

Right pic: de-solder exposed wire, solder wire extension (~24ga) to switch to 'open' circuit.

IMHO the SPM switch should be mounted near the gear lever center console...so when you shift the switch can be activated.

From my years of road course experience as a driver and instructor I suggest:

Just before entering braking zone, activate SPM and select gear for turn, heel toe, post apex hit full throttle, use TORQUE for exit and straight 10-45 secs?, turn off SPM near end of straight. Something like that.

Way more work than you think it is, and, you would need to have a working range on the rack or something.

Not necessary. Half the fun is controlling the torque at the limit.

Trust me its very very easy to control.

If you don't want the tires to spin just leave in vsc sport mode

Yes you can run one into another and double the boost. We are going try a setup like this in the summer time.

Be careful with setting this expectation when summer heat comes into the equation. Based on the feedback provided to Rob the control unit has been redesigned to better manage both the unit's and engine bay heat.

Currently I believe PUG has been running the unit the past few months in Phoenix and I wonder if he has tripped the unit on a few occasions.

A real quick summer solution to provide the unit cold air ventilation is to remove the rubber lining affixed to the hood above the head light.

Also everyone new running the unit don't freak out when you eventually trip the. Olathe meter. It is a nice subtle reminder to back off the boost.
