Exhaust Choice

Hi everyone,
I want to get an exhaust system for my car but i cant really decide. At first i wanted to get the Invidia N1 cat-back but then later on a lot of people told me that the N1 has too much drone, so now I'm thinking of the Q300, other than that what else can i get for under $900, sounds really good, and without a lot of drone.

Well, what I have and am happy with is a nameless axle back with 2.5" piping and 5" mufflers.

http://shop.namelessperformance.com/...eback-exhaust/

It is relatively mild on the road, yet it says "I'm here" around town.

I suggest you look over the nameless site for optional ideas.

You shouldn't rule out the GReddy Evo3 with the silencers on... Sounds ballsy and yet is drone-free on an otherwise stock exhaust.
Now, with the silencers off, a *whole* different ball game...

Are you only wanting to do the catback or will it be just the first step in eventually doing the entire exhaust system?

If your only doing the catback then the Perrin non resonated system is wonderful.

I have it and everyone that has heard it tells me it sounds great from outside the car. Only problem I might run into is if I ever start taking out parts of my exhaust with the cats. I might be ok if I go turbo but not sure.

I have the Q300 and I think it's perfect for DD. Sounds great from the outside, but IMO is a bit quiet from the inside (I just want to be able to hear the exhaust note a bit more as the driver).

I really think the Q300 is the bang for the buck in terms of sound (if you don't care much for weight saving). You could find a killer deal through our vendors here.

Ya im just looking for a cat-back not thinking of changing my headers or running cat-less, just something that sound really good.
the Perrin non resonated system sounds really good, but is it loud inside the car?

I have the perrin 3" and love it. Sounds great, very 'grown up' sound with the turbo. Doesn't sound like some kid's civic, in other words.
