Is the new fan thicker then the old? Im going to be running the fbm radiator and stage 2. I dont think theirs any issue if the fan isnt as thick.

Its the shroud that adds some thickness. If you're surface mounting the SPALs you should be ok, but might be tight.

No ill be using the fbm radiator with the supplied fbm fans in the kit.

The supplied generic fans are actually a bit thicker because the motor section sticks out in the center a bit. When we took our generic fans out, the center section where the wires enter the fan was melted, probably why they quit working.

He does, the SPAL fans are slimmer slightly in that area

Maybe ill upgrade them when I get the kit. But dont think ill need the shroud. Thanks for being the first to try this.

nice turbo setup. any power numbers? I like how youre sticking with one brand as much as possible, im doing the same thing except with greddy parts. but I also have a mishimoto oil cooler that I plan on swapping out for the greddy one in the long run.
