Even if it starts to fall flat now your making a pretty good case for the 60 trim. I had one on my STI and everyone asked why I went with an "old" turbo, well its because they work.

Long story short the guy that designed it added a correction to make it read more like the engine dynos oems were using at the time, and it's been the same ever since. Hence why they read so much higher than the more accurate load dynos.

In any case, they're the yardstick. Terrible tuning tools, but a great yardstick. You can make a mustang read whatever you want. Not so for a dynojet.
This guy knows whats up. You can say what you want about them, but they are the standard, and I have found them to be very repeatable. The number a dyno produces is just a number, but being able to compare the results from any Dynojet across the country and see the correction factors in the file (the only way you can trick one) is much better than some of these Dyno Dynamics and Mustang dyno sheets I see that are always assumed to be lower than a Dynojet when in fact they can give whatever numbers the dyno operator desires. I don't know that I agree with terrible tuning tools. The newer load control models work just fine at loading up the car to fill in all the blanks on a fueling/ignition map.

So you are saying the SAE corrected numbers and the Uncorrected numbers were the same? Did you get the Dynojet run files from the operator? Everyone needs to remember to get their Dynojet run files from the dyno operator. You can view them and compare them using the free Dynojet Winpep software unlike any other dyno brand.

yes i should've specified... with a load cell they're equivalent to any other load dyno as a tuning tool. without one... not so much .
