So a few may know I have been working on the differences between OFT and EcuTek, its been mentioned you can run the OFT Tunes using EcuTek and after a lot of testing I have found some information that does not transfer over.

Now I freely admit I am still looking but I have been at this for awhile now and while I like things in both platforms the things I am not finding are alarming. I will quote my post in the main thread, which I have also provided a link to. This is something you should keep in mind.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47339

Quote:
For those planning on running OFT Maps using EcuTek I do have a warning:
There seem to be a few missing tables that I have found while looking through Rom Raider and EcuTek at the tunes available.

These are the tables I was not able to find in EcuTek but were in the new 1.55B Maps under Rom Raider were:
Feedback Correction Range (RPM)
Fine Correction Column (Load)
Cranking Fuel Injector Pulse Width A (ECT)
Cranking Fuel Injector Pulse Width B (ECT)
Cranking Fuel Injector Pulse Width C (ECT)
Cranking Fuel Injector Pulse Width D (ECT)
Cranking Fuel Injector Pulse Width E (ECT)
Cranking Fuel Injector Pulse Width F (ECT)

Now I could have overlooked them but I sat going through the tables 1 by 1 as you have to due to EcuTek's lack of a compare feature.... and I didn't find them. I will be looking into it further but at this time I felt it was worth bringing to the attention of those looking into doing this as I have heard others mention it quite a few times.
The tables I can't find above have to do with knock detection/correction, Fueling (I was editing the cranking mainly for cold starts on E85) and control.
Now just like the Shops have a compare feature and Pro Users don't, this could be the same situation. However it then raises the question, what do you have to pay for to get all the tables found under OFT in EcuTek?
The big thing to take away here is this is just what I have found and I have now gone through the entire OEM List of tables twice trying to find tables that are not the same or similar and I cannot find them. So at this point there could be even more tables that are not found in EcuTek Pro version vs OFT. They could be considered not part of the End User Pro version, or they just don't exist in this fashion and are edited in another manor.

I don't see why ECUTek wouldn't have those tables, as those seem to be pretty important.

They're probably elsewhere but perhaps not directly editable??

I am thinking that may be true. Or that it's not in the end user version but maybe the version shops have just like shops have the compare feature and we don't.

Country Auto Upholstery did my Kaiser (google Drag'n Kaiser) his name is Lui. It's in a sketchy dirt lot off Grand, but he does good work at fair prices. Good enough to get my car in mags and on Jay Leno's Garage.

All of the tables are there. Just not to the normal end user. Usually this means the haven't extensively tested or found something that could interfere by tweaking the values. I'm on my phone ATM so I can't pull up the suites to check what each app calls the ignition but the one you are looking for is called knock alpha or gamma or something and I forget the other.

As for e85 if you would like to send me a rom I will gladly put a cold crank custom map on it for you and if you want I can even put a fuel quantity multiplier so you don't have to hack the diel tables and injector scales.

Thanks I appreciate it, but I want to know what I have to buy to get there myself.

On the Alpha and Gamma I think I know the ones you are talking about although I think the values are represented differently. I have found a few tables like that but its pretty straight forward when you do find them.

I do cold crank compensation & e85 compensation with a custom table that multiplies the fuel quantity, there is an example of making some of the tables in one of the PDF's in the help folder. And I can't remember exactly which tables they are but I can check tonight on that once I get home from the office. At least I think I know which tables you are talking about. Going back and forth between RR & Ecutek i get spun around at times with the names but as you said its pretty straight forward when you run into the tables so you know which ones you are editing.
