Well already know $3000's gonna go towards Weds TC105n and Michelin PSSs, what's left have to decide between a JR SC or P&L turbo. I want at least 300whp.

You're doing it wrong if you're getting 9k back.

Nope, I got the same amount back last year. Because I have huge amounts of carried over tax credits I get most of it back. In a few years when I'm done using up these tax credits, I'll get shafted at 50% income tax rate by the communist government of Canada for being in the highest income bracket; good thing I'll be incorporated by then and able to divert a lot of my income to dividends paid to family members. I guess that's the price for free public healthcare.

Now back on topic...ideas on how to spend the rest of the money? Turbo or SC?

I am sad I pulled out of Tesla, I bought 2k in shares at 91$ during a small down trend from 110$ when I read about new advances in lithium ion tech. and the volatility and uncertainty of the trend made me decide to break even. Id have around 3800$ now since its now at over 150$ a share.

If you do not have an emergency fund already, save it. Having about 3-6 months worth of bills at least in your savings account will make you feel even better about spending money because you will always have that cushion behind you. Get in the habit of paying yourself back, use your savings account like your OWN credit line. Take only what you will pay back, except you dont pay interest to anyone except yourself why loose money.

Just my 2cents.
Look at KMP or KMR........
Anyway I'm going with the OFT and OFH to start. Next is catback and fill in the holes from there. I first saw Vishnu's work back in 02 with the WRX. They could make more power than the STI that came out a year later. Clean tested and true, as it is now. It IS the best first step for your $1000. But what do i know, I'm just a electrician.

I want reasonably loud with no drone. I am a salesman and take calls through the Bluetooth system and would still like to be able to use it.

I would love your suggestions.
Sounds like an ARK exhaust to me

Our exhausts are engineered to have the least amount of drone possible. Conversation friendly cabin

I hear you. Didn't get half as much as I was expecting...and no, not first world problems. That is a real world problem. Our entire tax system needs a major overhaul. Flat tax FTW.

has anyone heard anything about the DC Sport dual canister cat back? It comes with a mid pipe with a helmholtz resonator which I think would be a good thing. I can't seem to find too much about it though, and I cannot find ANY clips of it with a UEL, which is what I want in the long run.

See my response on this thread.

I know way to old in my thinking but it does kinda make sense!

It lacks the instant gratification factor of a big refund but I think something that has been saved for provides for a much more meaningful gratification.

God I sound like my father!
