fair enough, I would like to agree with you. It would be great If it came with the relay, and quick connectors already installed. But look at it like this, you have to buy the batteries yourself, you have to get the tune yourself, and you need those for the system to work. The relay is optional. I can't see it being cheaper having to pay the overhead of 1 person buying and shipping all the components to himself, only to have to pay to ship them all out to the customer.
Maybe Rob just want's to concentrate on putting out a functional kit, and probably recouping some of his R&D. This is the first run of consumer product. Lots of input, changes, opinions, and new data coming in all the time, I wouldn't blame him if he just wants to start out by providing proof of concept products, and worrying about options later. Personally I think someone should help make a FAQ, (as it's still in development at the website) I thought about getting it started, but I am too ignorant about the product. |

I'm glad you brought up the FAQ because that is a great idea. I'll start building one up with all the main questions that get asked. Thanks, Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk |

At over $2000 with batteries and a tune, who cares about $5 for a relay?[/QUOTE]
Yes, I did provide a simple 5 dollar DIY solution for the time being.

Before I order this setup I have a question. My 13 BRZ limited is an automatic with complete Perrin non catted, no resonated exhaust, Perrin intake and Revworks header. Will I have any issues getting an OFT tune without going physically to a tuner? Are there concerns with the system on an auto?

I believe one person just started running the system with an auto, and I know next week someone near me will be running the system on their automatic.

I see two options: 1. Get a ecutek protune or if shiv is willing to, a OFT pro tune. 2. Install stock intake, sell perrin and run OFT, the revworks and open flash header are both catless and unequal length so the tunes should be close at least. I think this questions is better answered by @shiv@vishnu..... what would you recommend in this case shiv? The one thing we are lucky about is our boost is not controlled by exhaust flow so the whole catless/2.5"/3" has no bearing on the overboost as it would in a turbo setup. |

What I have seen most recommendations go is sell your intake towards the cost of the esc. Intakes are pretty worthless in this car. (In my humble opinion)

I am also wondering if an EL will make better power up top in HP/TQ vs UEL. Main advantage to the UEL was the removal of the TQ dip but with the ECS thats no longer a problem.

Based on what @shiv@vishnu was saying, I doubt it. His testing showed better torque dip reduction on UEL headers which is why he changed from EL to UEL.
