Thanks though. It looks sick.

I looked up on the internet and they say it's safe to put them on when the avg. temperature drops below 40ish (maybe 34? give or take) and put the summer tires back on when avg. temperature goes back above 40- which happens to be late November to late March-early April I think.

But you know nature is unpredictable and sometimes it would snow in May, too.. (few years back up in Rochester, NY it snowed a little during the commencement which used to happen in late May when RIT had a quarter academic system)

I'm taking off my blizzaks in late March.. or early April to be safe. But we'll see how temperature changes

Yea I'll be switching late march/early april also I think. Late Nov is a good time to put them on (I did late Dec but that was too late really)

I have two cars, a beater I normally drive on winter days and the BRZ with altimax arctics for when it's going to snow enough to have fun.

Coworkers keep asking how I drive my little RWD sports car in the snow. I always respond by saying "with a big stupid grin on my face"

My supervisor come by and starts asking around who's gonna be in tomorrow. Every one in the vicinity shrugs. He then look at me and and says I know your gonna be here rain or shine, you prob drive a Humvee or something.

Coworker next to me say na he drives the complete opposite of an Humvee, also stating that I'm crazy for doing so .

It's extremely entertaining when people act like OUR cars are the death traps in the snow. I'd much rather drive the 86 in bad weather than their FWD minivans or FWD based "SUV's".

LOL, Lose respect for the snow and ice in a light weight, RWD, Manual car and you will be on the news. My wife drives a FIT, and it is way better in the snow and ice. I'm not saying the FRS is impossible to drive in ice and snow, it's just not that safe. More room for error.
