I still wonder why they couldn't make it fit if they moved the OP flange rearwards. Sure it wouldn't be compatible with factory fit OP's, but I would rather be forced to run their special fit OP to get a cat in the header without sacrificing primary length and collector placement.

just wondering....it's great to see the local guys, TIG in hand, but who would be opposed to outsourcing some of this so we didn't have to wait so long?

The sooner I get this, assuming I'm happy with it, the sooner I will buy more.

Making me wait 1 year for a product is one way to do business but there are also other, better ways.

I'm 100% sure they're trying to find help to manufacture their parts, but it's not as easy as hiring another person. Sometimes you just can't find someone with the proper skillset to hire within a reasonable time. Not every welder has the ability to produce the work Nameless puts out, so they would probably rather have delays than hire a welder that doesn't meet their quality standards.

Otherwise we might end up with products like this.

....missed the point, outsource doesn't mean low quality.

Apple doesn't manufacture any of their products, they pay others to do it, set the standard and make sure it's followed.

They posted on facebook that they had two of the first batch that weren't spoken for. Doesn't really sound like they need to outsource.

Point was if you try to rush to find another source to manufacture your product because people are pushing you to hurry, you might not get the quality you expect.

Yeah I doubt they'll get a lot of orders until they post a dyno (or a customer posts one).

Ok, but you're comparing against company that has the capital to make an investment of that sort. Do you think Nameless has the time to sacrifice 1 out of 6 people they have to search for an outsourced alternative, and quality control it? Probably better off using the hours in labor in their current situation.

Because unlike most header companies that just slap it on the dyno and pour E85 into the throat of the car and get bragging numbers they seem to be wanting to do a quality test of components & tuning platforms. I am going to assume they found a minor optimization while on the dyno and wanted to tweak it further. Proper dynos take time. It isn't a 1 hour job of just adding a ton of timing and calling it a day. VVT adjustments can take a lot of time. Especially if they are in fact testing each component one at a time. Also the tuner was out of town at one point as previously mentioned. I am sure it will be worth the wait!

They moved to a MoTeC unit, so I I question what's going on with the stock ECU and the gains...they had already said they were facing regression issues on the stock unit.
