So here's a legitimate random thought for you guys. I've decided I want a jacket like the one from Drive, though not that exact jacket. Don't want to look like someone trying to be cool wearing a replica jacket.

While we are all at it. What do guys think about raising the speed limit on the highway? Think it will be fine (say going 75 - 80 mhp) or will it lead to danger/accidents? ![]() Quote:
On another note, I ran into the ex today, dafuq, and she tried so hard again to get back with me. Then she became a hateful bitch. Reluctantly I put her back in her place. What sweeten the moment was onlookers were on my side once I dropped some knowledge on her. So glad she finally get the picture.

The speed limit on interstates around here is already 75 (away from cities), and it seems to work just fine. Everyone seems to drive 75 - 80 most of the time, and (at least as far as I can tell) there aren't any more accidents than there are in areas with lower limits. If anything, I think there's a lot less speeding, and more people drive at similar speeds to everyone else on the highway (which is actually safer than having some people at 55 and others at 80). |

For one, cars have gotten a shitton more safe throughout the years. Airbags, ABS, to name a few. But at the same time, you have to think of the other modes of transportation that use the same system. Motorcycles, and big-rigs, say if someone had to stop for some reason to avoid an accident, big-rigs going at a higher speed limit would have less time to react and to stop in time. And then there's little cars, such as jellybe--..miatas, and the 86 twins. People already barely see the cars (apparently). What's your take on raising the speed limit? Also, that is such a sweet feeling to see an ex and put them in their place. My ex gloated all the time on the internet, but when I saw him in real life? (We were a LDR) He ballooned to 450 pounds. Yikes.

Oh, it's awesome.
Especially when they say how successful and how great they've become after the breakup, to find out they're 25, 450 pounds, and their mom still does their laundry. ![]() And guys say women are the confusing gender.

That awkward moment you bring your pc to your nerd friend to fix and have to tell them to not look through your photos.
Dear god, I really hope he doesn't. |

He did. Absolutely 100% he did look through them. If it wasn't for the comment I would say there was a 50/50 shot that he didn't, but as soon as you said not to, that was his number one priority. Sorry.

I'm all for setting speed limits to the mean speed being driven on a highway as that will typically be safest speed. There's generally two groups of people on the road, those that are rule bound and believe that traveling the speed limit will save them, and those that aren't rule bound and chose to go a speed that is safe, but more time efficient than the speed limit. Bringing those two groups together has in many places led to less accidents. |
