Wow I guess I should update this thread lol. Well the STi is stored for winter, and I purchased a 93 Mazda miata from Washington that was too cheap to pass up.
Rose, welcome to the family.   First things first, brakes and tires Stop tech street performance pads and Dunlop dz102 tires(which I think are too sticky, I should have went with something more shitty and fun)   I instantly ordered some Tein street flex coil overs and Energy poly bushings all around. Along with a basic service.   After a few swear words and bloody knuckles they are all installed minus the diff bushings as I plan to go with a 1.8 rear end soon.   We had a spare Tomei 60S exhaust for a brz and it looked like it would fit....guess what.. It does lol.    I could not stand how far the tip stuck out so I hacked it. Soo much better.  Girlfriend bought me a gift for it haha.  And last I put in the old head unit from the sti.  So far I am loving this little shitbox, nothing makes my BRZ feel so big, fast and comfortable compared to this thing. Oh and my BRZ, I did the out of winter storage oil change and have just been enjoying it on nice days. Only at 5900 miles, but I do love love this car  Thanks! Rick |
