So according to scca milwaukee they only allow 8in wide rims and 245 tires for stx. Thats a hard combo to find

That's probably for All wheel drive vehicles. Its different for 2wd vs AWD normally

Ok here is the generic list of what you want on a competitive BRZ/FRS for STX.

Wheels: 17x8, 17x8.5, 17x9 ( offset from +45-+35, do not go staggered )

Tires: Hankook RS3, Bridgestone RE11, BFGoodrich Rival, Toyo R1R, Dunlop ZII

Tire size: 235-40-17, 245-40-17, 255-40-17

Suspension: a decent set of adjustable coilovers such as Feal, Fortune, BC or higher end KW, JRZ, MCS

Sway bars: Whiteline, Strano, Perrin ( you could do front and rear )

Engine: Pulleys, Intake, Header and exhaust ( you are required to have at least one Cat converter ) You cannot do anything internal.

ECU: Get a tune for it once you get parts on it.

Battery: Play your card right and swap to a light one to drop weight.

That is the kind of optimistic thinking I like. Your racing, like mine in Montana is still 3 months away but you are talking like it is next week. Hopefully the next three months fly by so we can get after it again.

Oh sweet! FVSCC will have an autocross on Road America's go kart track! There is a gentleman that has a Hot Lava FRS that runs with FVSCC often. Very cool guy.

Sick. Hopefully i get to meet up with him. Im really excited now. Hey i can run my frs just for fun n not have to remove any parts right? If im not worried about class or anything?
