The Oregon Gas Experience

You tell the gas attendant premium.....
*twice*
Only to still see him shove the regular nozzle in your car.....

Die Gas Pumper!!!!!

There I feel like Ive vented about my wonderful trip to the gas station this morning now.
-------
What type of poor experiences have you guys had at gas stations?

LOL! I know what you mean. I always look to see which nozzle or button they press. I always say 92 though, just so they actually have to think about it and pick the right number.

It's super awkward on a street bike, they just stand there waiting while you take off your helmet... and gloves... and fish out your wallet from whatever pocket you decided to use that day.

And then all they do is swipe the card for you and then stand there watching while you pump your own gas.

I was under the impression there was actually law in Oregon that if an attendant is there on premises that they have to operate the pump. but ive never looked into it

I aways get out and lean up against the pump like i'm their supervisor and talk about the car. I lived in washington most my life so useto pumping my own gas... If I was there id be standing next to the pump... so while some slave pumps my gas I might as well be watching him and standing on the otherside to slap him if he fucks up. (call gas attendants slaves because Oregon has inslaved people to pump gas which is wrong we need to free the slaves and pump our own gas)

I always love when I go to get gas and you see the car next to you trying to figure out how to make it work.... Silly Oregonians.

I remember when I came here seven years ago and walked up to the pump, grabbed the hose and started pumping...man, that guy just freaked!

Have to admit I get out of the car and watch them every time...been premium for a long time.

Why do you take off your helmet? I pull up, swipe, pump and go. I also drive to Vancouver to get gas when I don't get E-free.
