We should try and get a GTA ESC Groupby+ Install Day

Install looks to be relatively easy.

Frankly, I'm not too thrilled paying $900+ for Ecutek after just buying a Cobb AP with several OTS tunes for a fraction of that amount for my WRX. Wouldn't dream of not owning a cable with Ecutek considering my mechanical mods for the most part are removable if a visit to the dealer is required.

I LOVED Cobb for my sti and wrx. I have ecutek and I don't really like it but they were first.

Our best bet right now is the open flash tablet. I really like it and it is similar to the Cobb ap in terms of price and options.

Oh and install being relatively easy is a understatement the longest part of install was getting the stock airbox off and removing the resonator...about 15 minutes. Rob and I did the first install with proto kit in about 45 minutes including testing out different tube length and figuring out wiring lengths.

Forgive me if this has been asked, but is there or will there be an OTS tune via OFT for the Phantom system?

I believe Shiv has been installing, tuning & testing the TQ250 and TQ300 ESC's for the past week or so - I'm looking forward to his results.

We are guessing based of his systems he has sold in the past. I know that this kit has a lot Hugh quality parts in the motor and the controller can handle 5kw which his only systems could not.

Estimate 1500 to 1600.

The next week will be interesting.

Just took delivery of my nameless performance header and 3" overpipe an hour ago. Tuning scheduled for next week at Drift Office. Now I need to install the new control unit Rob sent me back in December. Hopefully, Bob can make unicorns come out the exhaust.

Very interested in this has nameless posted any performance data on the new design.

I don't think you can expect anything else but unicorns out of the exhaust with the combination of these two products.
