The arms I'll be buying are the new Voodoo 13 units, which have a hard anodized finish and should stand up to abuse the best. We'll see if their QC is better than F7's.

Mmmm... ah.... now that's pretty. So why did you even buy these F7 arms if you already have the Voodoo 13 arms? They do look a lot like the Stance arms with the lowered shock mounting holes.

I don't have the Voodoo arms yet. To my knowledge, no one does. They're supposed to be shipping February 20ish.

They do look like the Stance units, but from what I've seen these are about 75 cheaper than Stance's MSRP (499 vs 575). I also like that these units are being built in America, while the Stance arms I haven't seen where they are manufactured.

Have you checked these out?

They're a good shop, the parts are not cheaply made. They have lowered mounting points for coilovers for better travel. Since you can adjust ride height anyway, you don't have to be slammed for this to be a benefit.

I have just recently been introduced to those arms, but having something solid and from aluminum was my goal if I was going to upgrade. The Voodoo arms cover that.

Another update regarding the Function 7 arms and the return process: Function has responded to another of my emails, and going from the serial number on the arms I bought they tracked them back to an employee that is no longer with their company. It wasn't implied by them, but I'm sure that the arms I received weren't the only problem ones that the employee let go.

Function has also assured me that they have been in contact with JHPUSA, and have informed them to refund my purchase fully. That takes a lot of stress off me, because I was sure that JHP was going to try to stick me with their 25% "restocking fee" just to recoup some of their shipping costs.

My only complaint about this whole process (because I do understand having employees who let shit go, it happens) is that Function takes a while to respond to inquiries. If they had responded a day sooner and offered to work things out, I probably would have kept the arms. Oh well, everything seems to be working out for the best though!

Right on, just wanted to make sure you had options. I do love the look of those Voodoo arms. And they sure do give a lot of mounting options!
