Oh man, that's really cool. R32 is the place to be. Glad that guy finally got what he wanted (with no strings attached). Great story.

Same. Just to "be prepared" in case I come into enough dough to import the list of stuff I want.

Imagine hitting the lottery and being able to import a gaggle of all your favorite 25+ year old cars.

B10 BiTurbo would be on my list.

Grab that one fast, for I was eyeing some of the canadian ads for the B10

Early S13s and W201 25-16 Cosworths are already good for importation, with some neat TVRs coming up in the next couple of years

The R32 skyline GTS-T is my dream car. I think it is beautiful, its not hyped to me, it is what it is. an S13 with double A arm front and an RB and it looks nicer.

When you stand and look at an R32 it is amazing how small they actually are, they share a lot of design similarities and angles with the S13. you can practically slap all the body panels onto an s13 yourself even though the rear quarter is all one piece and youd have to therefore cut it ..but dimensionally very similar to a silvia.

It is what it is. and I want one =D Screw an Attesa equipped 4WD GT-R that has more parts to break when they are going to be hard to find.

And these are the movies that first Hyped me on the Skyline [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0s9KKMBbQw"]Shuto Kousoku Trial 2 1990 [FULL MOVIE ENG SUB] - YouTube[/ame]

I especially like the montages where somehow lifting weights, jump rope, and jogging long distances miraculously turn him into an amazing driver.

And keiichi Tsuchiya is in all of them starting with 2 onward. He always shows up encouraging people to race on the track, their ego's keep them on the street ..bad things always happen ..then they usually all end with them racing with Tsuchiya on the circuit because they have "grown up"

At about 1:00:00 (1 hour) into that movie is the notorious footage of Keiichi and Orido (at the actual wheel as stunt driver) at Maze Circuit in Japan, where the pair of R32's do a neat little tandem run. I asked KT once about this personally, and he declined to comment (embarrassingly) of something he took on a long ago, when folks of Sanei Publishing approached him for the role.
He told me all he got in payment was $200 and a drink at the bar afterwards. LOL!

Actually your better of with a GTR than a GTS-T for lots of reasons. First of its harder to find R32 gtst parts than GTR because most tuners still support the GTR while there are hardly any R32 gtst's left in Japan so almost every thing for them has been discontinued.

Second resale, you will have a hard time getting rid of a R32 GTST, where i live every one that wants a RWD Skyline gets the superior R33 GTS25T.

And as last RB20DET's have no torque at all, most people in Japan get rid of it for that reason. Swap it for something with more torque and power like a RB25 or a SR20 if their looking for better weight distribution.

I love the RB20DET. I love it in the S13. I love the way it revs, and it sounds AMMMAAAZIIING.
