Already beaten to the punch linking JPM.
They're definitely on my "Future mod list". 1 sight, and I was hooked.
Plus, they look super classy (at least imo).

Damn mod bug, stop hitting me! I don't even have a twin yet!

Its not my number, its the number to the business I contacted. So if I get positive results or negative that is a number you can contact/avoid.

The pattern begs attention to itself. It's like wearing neon yellow shoes. Unless you REALLY want to draw attention to your feet and away from everything else you're wearing, why do it? Same goes for cars and other aspects of design.

Could always have a shop paint them with OEM-matched paint. Looks good.

@ BoostinIX actually I had professional paint, and painted my whole interior on my previous car, Dodge Avenger R/T. It looked really good. The tan was converted to a mix of Black, Blue, and Red in very tasteful combination. But as people scratched the paint the tan with their computers or feet. It showed and quickly lost its value.

I even have spoken to multiple car custom places, they refuse to paint someones interior as they have had a ton of complications based on the warranty.

It almost is not worth it unless there is a coating I can apply besides clear coat that I am not aware of to make it durable. If there is I would love to know as that would typically be cheaper and naturally look really nice.

It's not as bad as it could be, but yeah. It draws your attention to the dash and screams LOOK AT ME. It doesn't match the rest of the interior (and if I did, it would be extremely hard to look at the interior. I've seen car interiors decked out in carbon fiber and it looked completely tasteless, as if handed over to a 13 year old boy to design). The only way I can think of to tastefully pull off carbon fiber in a decorative way is in very small amounts on trim pieces that don't have such a large surface area, and even then, there are other options that would still look way better.

Of course design is a subjective matter and you may disagree, but it's hard to disagree that it is at least distracting.

I like the dry carbon. It's not shiny at all. This one isn't the one I ordered but it's an example.

hydrodipping would probably be the way to go, then, since it's not paint, per se, and thus it's stronger.

This is my tacky cf interior. Before you go off on the not aligned gauge pod piece. I haven't finished securing that piece yet because i am getting a S/C installed in a month and i need access to the back of the panel to install my boost gauge.

I'm really not a fan of carbon fiber on the interior, but at least it's real carbon fiber and not 3M stick-on "carbon fiber"...

Now, if someone showed me a BRZ with a full stitched-leather dash, my ears would probably prick up! Basically if our cars looked like a 997 GT3 inside that would be perfect IMHO. Leather here, a dab of alcantara there... mmmmm.

Such an awesome interior. I really want one of those cars... one day!
