I actually might need to add another washer. I noticed with it being cooler and on e85 (making more power) it seems to rub a little in 3rd gear now. I haven't seen any effect to the handling but don't like screwing with that stuff too much. It definitely got rid of the bulk of the contact. It was a real easy thing to do too.

Small Update:

I got tracking on my intercooler kit. It arrives tomorrow. My Raceseng pulley should arrive tomorrow too (although it looks like it's bounced around USPS facilities for a week on two-day priority). Looking at the forecast it looks like this weekend might be my best bet to install.

I plan to do the radiator and hoses first. Test it and then begin the intercooler install. I hope I can get started Friday evening and leave Saturday to get it all done. Gives me Sunday to test things out and watch the super bowl.

It's so cold:

I picked up some cleaner, my wheels are disgusting:

Probably the coolest thing I saw at the Washington Auto Show. I was very impressed with the new M3:

Can't wait to see power #'s/impressions with the intercooler. Your build is great super clean look too.

BTW how did you like the engine note of the new m3? Not convinced from videos but I loved BMW's older I6 engines' sound. I just think its a shame to throw out that beautiful sounding and revving v8 from the e92

I plan to make a trip back up to Pure Automotive in the coming weeks to get a dyno. That's where I did my first dyno after the supercharger install, so should give a good apples to apples comparison. I want to grab some logs and make sure everything is running good on the tune first.

The M3 was just on the convention center floor. I got to sit in it but the cars don't run in there. Everything just works together in it's design. I prefer it much more than the M4. Looking at the specs it looks like it will be a blast. I'm amazed by the carbon ceramic brake package. It doesn't even look real. I don't know how they fit the rotors in there.

good luck with the install. I post a lot in the supercharger owners thread but if you run into any issues hit me up.

Pretty lame video but I wanted to play with my gopro and windows movie maker. I plan to make a better video after I install my intercooler. Should be able to get a dyno video up here soon too:

I can't wait to drive one. What were your impressions of Yas Marina Blue having seen it in person? Is it too baby blue? Does the metallic in it show? Does it change colors depending on how the light hits it?

I agree, it might be my next car when I need the 4th door (I plan to hold onto my BRZ though). The M4 (pictured) was the blue and the M3 was silverstone. The silver seemed to have a little touch of blue in it, reminded me of a more silver color of the last Prelude that had that touch of blue/silver. Perhaps it was just being in a convention area. The blue was bold. I had a LSB e46 M3 and I liked the LSB better. It wasn't bad, just seemed a little too soft/milky to me. A little too close to a rapper painting his lambo in baby blue for me but I'd still drive it! I think they hit the mark on the car, especially with getting the weight down. That's the thing I hated most about the direction BMW went on the M3.

Here are some real pics:

Update
I received my Innvoate intercooler upgrade kit:

Everything was well packaged:

I was playing with the GoPro. I got a quick video of a cold start after work today. It has a nice crackle and pop. Exhaust = FA20Club EL Header (catted), Perrin OverPipe, FA20Club Front Pipe (resonated), and stock there back. For the second part of the video, I mounted a cheap external mic via a clip right by the alternator to pick up sound from the blower. Not sure where I can mount it for better pick up:

I'm still waiting on my Raceseng Pulley, looks like a USPS FAIL:

I have seen all the pics, but I want impressions from people that have seen it in person. I had an E46 M3 in LSB, and now I have an E92 M3 in LSB. I love the way LSB changes colors depending on lighting conditions. I am almost sure I will own an M4, and I think it will be Yas Marina Blue.

Yeah, it might disappoint. It might reflect some darker tone out in the wild but with the showroom lights it didn't look like the paint was too adaptive.

I want the Borla cat-back. Just a matter of time. It isn't a high priority to me. I like keeping things quiet.
