You can get a tuned Kraftwerks SC kit for $5,000 or less, depending on the vendor. You CAN make $5k go a long way. The amount of "I think I know what I'm talking about" in this thread is laughable.
As for "installation costs", some of these kits are so ridiculously easy to install that if you can connect a socket to a ratchet you've done half the battle.
