im sure its more fun but youre talking about diminishing returns. hp numbers are also a little misleading. adding 60% more power isnt going to make the car 60% faster. if you want to be fast on a track (which it seems like you dont) there are cheaper ways to drop an equivalent amount of time. if you want to be faster on the street, just tach out on your commute.

FI is a weird thing because its only worth it to a very small group of people.

Since the concept FT came out a more powerful version has been my wish. Any turbo kit or supercharger will do. More than HP look at the torque and when it will be available (rpm). For a daily drive the added torque feels so right.
Re on what kit and how to tune depends on where you are and who you trust.
For your target whp almost any kit will do.
If it's installed and tuned right you'll always be smilling.

From what I've seen, keeping it under 300whp on good 93 94 octane seems to be safe. For 91 octane, 250whp or less is generally what I see. Of course, it all about the tune!

Is FI worth it? It all depends on you goals. To me, it's 100% worth it! This car was begging for more power outta the gate. A nice 260-280whp would be great in this car. The greddy kit will get you there but personally, it cost toi much for what you're getting. I'd look more into what vendors are offering here as they seem to have better for buck kits compared to the greddy.

Good luck.

that's not to say it doesn't matter because it does, just that it's not like the thing is sitting there looking for an excuse to blow up.
You say that like its a bad thing. LOL!

going to need some bigger and slicker tires for that...lol

So I've done a little more research and I've been looking at the Jackson super charger due to it having bigger gains for around the same price. Any actual owners care to chime in on the kit? Thanks

If you have both oem cats the carb tune can be used otherwise a custom tune will need to be done as the maf sensor maxes out. The KW and JR kits both produce nearly the same. And the vortech with a pulley upgrade is comparable as well.

I have to say yes, but you need pick the right parts for your goals. You need better brakes, tires, fail-safe systems etc... to safely take advantage of the power. Remember no matter how many people tell you its safe, there is always a chance that you could over boost and kill the motor. Gotta be ready to pay to play the game. When it comes time, I am looking at the Jackson SC racing kit. maintains OEM drivability, same power band, just fatter and more of it.

FI is definitely the way to go for this car, and turbo for sure. High compression spools quick, di, crazy knock resistance. It's really pretty amazing, and then you try e85
