They had us wait to come in until 10 instead of 8, ya know, when the freeze was getting at its worst. The first time, I was in a middle lane with nobody anywhere around me getting comfortable with how fast I wanted to go. EASED up to 40 and it kicked out. Slowed to 30. The next time, still around 30, it did it again with someone in the lane right next to me. My back bumper had to be within inches of their vehicle. Talk about your heart skipping a beat. Needless to say, down to around 20 from then on.

Not a single wheel spin! Was driving between Dayton and Mont Belvieu on FM 146 and it was clear of ice at 8am. But had to turn around to help a friend get unstuck on HWY 90. Luckily a guy with a 4x4 stopped to help.

My lucky friend! Only a scratch on her bumper!

The not so lucky ones on the other side! There ended up being 12 or so cars on this side!

This happened on HWY 90 between Dayton and Crosby. A little bridge going over a creek iced up real bad! Most didn't even know it was a bridge!

A freeze like this in Houston doesn't happen often. Most of the people here have never driven in icy conditions. My 5 years of driving in Germany and the ice/snow there came in handy!

Hey guy's, I'm the final stages of ordering my MT Whiteout Monogram FR-S. I'm in Woodlands/Conroe/Spring area. Just a few questions for you guys.
#1 Where should I buy, Fred Haas or Gullo Toyota? I'm leaning toward Fred Haas but what you guy's think?
#2 I need a detailer, I'm going to get 3M clear bra, Opti-guard & 3M Crystalline window tint. Anyone know a good detailer in my area that can do this?

Thanks for the help guys, looking forward to joining the community.

Dunno if he does the clear bra but look up Excessive Detailing. He did my cquarts coating for my entire car and it looks amazing! Cool guy too! His name is Koshi.

6MT Limited SWP From Gillman South on 1/10. Love it. Need to find a local track to start learning how to really drive though.

Do you have any other details on the meet? (other than Facebook - I don't use it) Thanks!

What was your experience with Fred Haas? I thought they were OK. (Not stellar, but OK).

They are not worth the time. I went back to get the free oil changes and they don't know from their ass and a hole in the ground.
