I don't have much to compare it to but the plastic from the PU one I got is tough. It doesn't feel like it'll crack immediately on impact. I don't know how the ABS one feels like but I'm happy with how it feels. As for the quality.. again I can't compare it to the ABS one but on both sides of the corner it's a little annoying that it wasn't as smooth as the rest. It's hard to explain but I just painted it today, i'll take some pictures tomorrow. I did sand it to lessen the imperfections so I think that helped. I'll let you know how it fits tomorrow.


Also those posts are from a while ago so they could've improve quite a bit. But i'll let you decide with the pictures i'll take tomorrow.

I thought about body matching the upper portion of the skirt and leaving the rest black. I like the contrast of it all being black though.
Hard to see in the picture, but mine are actually painted to match the OEM black plastic pieces (fog bezels, bumper grill). It looks pretty awesome in person.
Eventually I'll get out my real camera and take some decent pictures.

This is my thought as well, and same treatment on the spats, but leave the front lip alone. I keep meaning to photochop that to see how it looks...

ugh i love how the Jonmotoring lip looks but he has been getting really bad feedback. can anyone shoot me towards the same lip but from a trusted vendor? I'm also scared of ordering through ebay -_-

I didn't have any issues when I ordered my lip. It was part of the first batch I think.

I am also on the same page. I am interested in PU STI style front lip.
Jonmotoring's lip is $145 and Ebay is 84.99.


Did Jonmotoring's lip has better strength or quality or someone can


recommend the trusted vendor for me to get good PU STI lip?


Most of the ebay STI PU from lip image looks stolen from this forum><.

It sounds like that you install the PU one (JonMotoring) first , then took it out and install the ABS one (Bayson R) latter. Is that correct?

The ABS is stiffer, had better fitment and was easier to put on.

I hit some dirt in a ditch and it broke the PU lip. I just decided I would give the ABS one a shot this time. I'm happy with it so far.
