No, you read that completely wrong. I am trying to determine if the FRS/BRZ uses a MAF/SD hybrid tune from the factory. I'm not sure if the MAP sensor is for a limp mode if the MAF sensor is faulty, or if it uses the MAP sensor for fueling at high rpm. You were the one who jumped down my throat.

the stock ecu only uses the map sensor for fueling calculations during cranking. there are some necessary comps (like port mrp compensation) that use it, but generally it's more useful as an iat sensor in a blow-through setup lol.
