I feel like the top of the line Corvette model is going to push some crazy HP numbers. I'd be surprised if the new Z06 has less than 600hp

But idk, hard to say what those geniuses at GM are up to lol

The point being made was the FRS/BRZ are entry level sports cars.. Just because you bought one with more options.. Doesn't change the fact that they are entry level sport cars.
The twins are definitely in the "entry-level" sports car bracket.

I'll probably pick an FRS or BRZ as my first car in the new Gran Turismo hahaha

Never being able to utilize the power and grip in everyday driving. Put your foot in it for more than 3 seconds.. And it's off to jail in cuffs. The FRS has useable power and handling for everyday fun! I seriously enjoy this car more than my last few high dollar, high powered machines..
I don't worry where I park it, LEO's , new tire cost.. Etc.. Sometimes less is more.. And a lot more fun!
To me, performance is all-encompassing "what can this car do when pushed to the limits" performance. To some, performance is "how much of this car can I use on the road?" For those, the Mustang GT, Corvette, GTR, 911, etc, might as well not even exist.

I'm no stranger to a quick street car, and likewise I've owned some cars that can be wrung all of the way out on the road. Yes, they won't get you in trouble as quickly, but they don't fulfill power lust either. Of course that doesn't exist in everyone which is why it's user opinion when it comes down to "Which is the better car?" Some just like a nice place to sit. Some want a gutted, track-ready street weapon. Some people want a jack of all trades. Chevy cut some corners with the interior amenities to give a lower cost of entry for more overall performance. Toyota/Subaru did it as well. Test driving the FRS ensured that I could be happy with the stock power for the time being, but that power bug always comes back to me eventually, and plans for forced induction are on the table before I even take possession of the vehicle.

I know you're probably feeling singled out since you're the only one that seems to think the way you do, but would you maybe be a little less butthurt about it if I liked one of your comments?

If we're going to be honest here, the BRZ is higher end than the Mustang for sure. To me a low end car does not do 150 mph with only 200hp, that's more like a higher end car.
The FRS and BRZ are low end because they have a 200hp 4 cylinder, front engine, relatively little equipment (even the BRZ Ltd), smallish brakes, and generally a fair number of cost-cutting components. The result is excellent, and all of the design decisions make sense, but just because it is an excellent-looking, fun to drive small car with HIDs and LED DRLs doesn't make it high end. As for pushing $30k? That is still less than the average new car (across all product segments) sold in the US today. This is a sports car which in the highest trim level is still cheaper than the average new car sold today. That sounds low end to me (which, as stated by others above, is not an insult or meant to be degrading to the car in any way).

Living near where they make them I have been tripping over these things every time I turn around for the last few months. Here is from me going to get lunch today. The lady driving the red one at the end tracks hers and she says the auto feels better than ever before and is way more responsive than in previous years.

Not photo shopped he probably just hit the curb. Michigan is not known for having the best drivers. They drive fast with an average highway speed of around 90mph but they do not drive well. That car belonged to the guy sitting on the ledge and it looked like it had been hit in all 4 corners. But with no vehicle inspections up here pretty much anything is allowed on the road. If it backfires pours smoke and has been crashed 8 times it's still legal in michigan.

Is it just me it does the C7 have a striking resemblance to the twins?
