This is EXACTLY the same car.

The ONLY DIFFERENCE in paint options between Scion/Toyota and Subaru is

World Rally Blue is exclusive to Subaru

Hot Lava/Orange is exclusive to Scion/Toyota

All other colours are EXACTLY the same.

They come from the SAME SUBARU FACTORY

Different names for the same colour.

SWP on the GT86 is the same as Whiteout for the FR-S!

damn, i was really hoping scion will bring a true white...

oh wellz: suby > scion in my book anyways; it would have been a very difficult choice if the fr-s came in true white, but now it's a no brainer [unless if the fr-s gets priced $2k+ lower than brz premium]... which is highly unlikely...

My order in with Toyota (uk) is for pearlescent white. No mention of a pure white on the option list.

I wouldn't be surprised if Scion offered a Super White FR-S in the following years. The tC RS 3.0 was offered in Blizzard White Pearl so this could be a temporary white.

For me, I don't mind either one. My Tacoma is Super White and my girl's IS is Starfire White Pearl so I see both versions everyday!

Apologies. I was thinking about my own scenario. I live in Canada, where Subaru thinks rape is legal.

The dealer I talked to (knew a lot about the car and many options) told me that subaru will get pearl while scion will be a pure white.
