The rite tire size? rpf1 17x9 +45
Im just looking for any input anyone may have when it come to tire size selection. Specifically for 17x9 45mm offset.
Currently looking at 245/40-17, 245/45-17. Any input would be appreciated.

You can go 255/40, but that might rub on the stock strut. If you haven't already ordered the wheels, try and get some with an offset of +35 because that won't rub.

I have enkei raijin 18x8.5 +45, same setup. It wasn't terrible but driving certain roads I could tell, and taking hard turns worried me at times... Strange noise. I Just put stocks back on until I get some spacers. |

Don't a lot of people also run 225's?

like... bad stretched?
I think a lot of track guys run 9's and 225's since they're optimal? But having said that, why not run the 8's for 225's? |

Your going to run into a lot of "peoples preference" I'm running a 255 on my 17x9, I like the meaty sidewalls for a bit of cushion on crap roads and just the look. This car wont see track time so thats not so much of a concern. If I did I might go down a size for one to tighten the sidewall and two because most track rubber runs a little wide.

I ran 245/40 on my 17X7.5s last summer with no probs. Forget the offset right now, so not much help hah stock suspension too. I liked the 'meaty' look. minor stretch is ok imo but everyone knows what they like, so just look around at what other ppl are running. gives me a good idea what to try next without damaging anything
