All was a major pain in the ass for one person, but it is possible. The only interference was the temp sensor, but that was easily pushed out of the way. Mine had a very slight angle to it when mounted.
Did this exactly. Used a floor jack to support intercooler, and doublesided trim tape to help hold the brackets in place while I marked the holes.

Possible with only one person

This is also what I did. Total pain in the ass for one person. Also, I don't remember that tab with the sensor harness in it. Is that an FRS only thing?

I think it may be the outside air temperature sensor. But I could very well be wrong.

That's exactly what it is.

I figured I would toss this in here... Since word finally got out that my engine blew and I want people to know it has nothing to do with Vortech but simply a tuner who really... really... dropped the ball.

Thumbs up to the Vortech crew for being supportive the whole time.

Here is the review & destruction of my car thread:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56141

My review of my Vortech experience will be coming up soon now as well. Which will be a LOT more positive haha!

Sorry to hear that bro!

A related question to all the Vortech folks - who's the most reliable Vortech tuner these days?

I have had VERY good dealings with Moto-East
Extremely fast turnaround on datalog submission, answers emails quickly, and had a few talks with him in email just shooting the breeze during datalog revisions

I send datalogs in the morning when I get to work (datalog during morning commute ) and new tune is always in my mailbox either same day or the next morning

Probably the best vendor experience I've had with this platform yet

Could someone do a write-up on the revisions to the Vortech kit that have occurred since its release?

I am pretty sure they changed their impeller? and maybe a pulley?

I'm not sure. It's tough to evaluate the Vortech kit when I don't know what issues have been resolved, and which power numbers are outdated.

Also, a listing of currently available upgrades (pulleys etc) and whether or not they void Vortech warranty would be great. Thanks!

If this information has already been compiled elsewhere, then a point in the right direction would be appreciated

The information is strewn about in different threads, if I get a chance when I get home I may work on compiling the info into one post/thread
