Here's my guess: web-designer copied a template. BOOM!

for those that don't want to click

It is just a placeholder site, not official numbers. I don't have any faith in these number, but it does give me a very small amount of hope.

Also, there are some accessories not present in the brochure. Like 18" wheels.
It looks like it just has every option available for every Subaru. I'm pretty sure there won't be 3rd row all-weather mats available

No way that's real, a five thousand dollar price difference is crazy.

Agreed.

Don't you guys want to know how to get the $17,495 version? I think we have to send our $2000 deposit to the High Prince of East Africa by Western Union.

Well, good to know Subaru has a page ready to go
Hope they go live with real numbers soon.
$17,495 is just the Impreza starting price.

Hmm its pulling some pretty advanced java script and all their resources. Could be wrong but this seems like a legit Subaru website. With that being said, those numbers HAVE to be place holders. Looks like they are just getting ready to launch the site.

The link is perfectly safe, their webmaster just doesn't have his SSL certificate in order.

The site is a Subaru web development testbed, and yes, it's obviously a placeholder.

Ah, I mean the web-designer for Subaru. Not a hacker type web-designer.

It is definitely not on a production server. I clicked through to the "calculate payment" page on the same server and it doesn't work. This is just a development server that they accidently made visible to google.
