Consumer Reports FR-S and BRZ weight
I'm not sure if this is already common knowledge, but I was surprised to see this in the latest issue of CR:
This has to be a typo lol. A 270 lb difference?

Typo, the numbers should be the same until specific trim levels are confirmed.

Very likely a typo considering the numbers are the same albeit in a different order.
EDIT: When'd the Boxster hit over 3000lbs? |

A lot of folks here managed to switch MSRP with MRSP so I'm sure CS can switch up a 6 and a 9.

LEts star figuring out how to reduce those extra 90lbs.
-spare tire out! 40lbs? -Lighter battery in 20lbs -exhaust change 10lbs -rear seat 30lbs? there you go 100lbs less that easy!

Those might be a bit overzealous, at least regarding the rear seat and spare tire. A motorcycle/Miata battery still weighs 15lbs, IIRC.
