And the FR-S setting made a HUGE night-and-day difference.
I'm not saying the sound system is bad and I'm definitely not saying people should spend money on their car like I did. I just think saying the sound system is "good" doesn't really give credit to cars that come with a "good" sound system. With the right settings and break-in the sound system is just fine and quite enjoyable.

PS: Your trunk is still looking great. And we now have matching front plates as well. We gotta meet up again some day so I can grab the keyless cable out of there.

Thanks for the input guys.

Let me clarify- the stock sound system isn't bad for the price range of the car. The highs in particular aren't bad, and it has decent depth, due to the 3 way component speaker setup.
However, I'm coming from a g37 with a decent sound system, roughly $2500 put into it. And I always listen to music, so it was a big downgrade for me. And no, I'm not the type who listens so others can hear me, I actually feel bad if/when they do. But I do like it do have volume, depth, and clarity.

I don't have a build page yet, will make one once I get more stuffs.
My audio is- Kenwood dnx690hd head unit, audison voce 2 way component speakers, JL audio c2 coaxial speakers, JL audio 10TW3 sub in factory sealed box, JL audio xd300/1 sub amp, kenwood xr400/4 4 channel amp.

Found a good deal on a takeda catback for 450. I know takeda ain't the best, but good enough. Think gonna add the berk catless pipe, and a Perrin intake filter for now. Ahh so much to do to the car, but not enough money! Lol.. I want it to be slick like so many twins out there...

Sorry if this is off topic,
But I have a new set of Audison voce tweeters. Audison is like the Ferrari of car audio, all handmade in Italy. Best sound u can get. They retail for $500. I'll sell them for $275, which is below what a retailer would pay for them. I work at a shop that does aftermarket stuff to cars, particularly audio, so I know.

Located in SoCal..
If anyone local has an Injen intake they wanna sell, lmk. I'm a big fan of Injen intakes.. Have them on my G and had it on my previous civic Si and juke.
But.. It's gotta be below the wholesale cost

Btw this car is amazing!! I'm truly blessed to have such a machine.. And be 5 minutes away from Malibu canyon roads I'm not a huge fan of drifting/hooning, so swapping the tires for bigger ultra high summer hankooks was huuuuge! Car grips even better now. Going from a fatty g37 to the frs is like.. Going from a 200lbs chick to a 100lbs! Can't believe there's 1000lbs difference., The hankook V12s are amazing tires btw.. Not too expensive, great in dry, and decent in rain for what they are.

I think I feel sorry for the FR-S owner who has this on the list of things to upgrade in order to enjoy the car.

ETA: Shill on, dude!

There are lots of ways to enjoy a car. Many people find being able to play music loudly while enjoying the sound quality in their own personal acoustically inclined space while driving a spirited car to be a fantastic combo.

Enjoy the car? No. Enjoy the car a lot more? Yes.

You're welcome to feel sorry. Thank you. Some people highly value listening to music.

I drive 150 miles a day, mostly through LA gridlock.
Good quality Music goes a long way.

Scotch speak.

I like fun cars and good quality sound. But the other one was more fun to type although still poorly worded.
